| APOSTOLATE
|
| Children
of Mary Apostolate In
conjunction with the spirituality of St. Maximilian
Kolbe, some sisters began the apostolate
"Children of Mary" Catechesis. Pre-schooled
children ages 6- 15 years old come for the Saturday session
where the children are instructed in the faith proper
to their age in order to prepare them to make an Act
of Consecration to the Immaculate. In this way,
children begin to cultivate tender love and devotion
to the Blessed Virgin Mary in an atmosphere that is
religious and Marian. Anyone who is interested may
reach the sisters in the above location.
Catholic
Bookstore
The
need for good and solid literatures is one of the keys
in living a truly Catholic life. Wit this intent in
mind, the Sisters assist the friars in "Our
Lady's Chapel", New Bedford, MA in maintaining
and making available good and solid material on
different levels of Catholic life: catechesis, lives
of the saints, documents of the church, apologetics,
etc.
Liturgical
and Marian Music
The
sacredness of the Holy Mass is enhanced by a good
liturgical music which is so much abused in many
Catholic parishes. The sisters assist the friars at
New Bedford, MA in their liturgies in singing
traditional hymns both Latin and English. They also
have produced to Marian cassette tapes of most of
these songs which is available at their Convent
Church.
"Day
with Mary"
Spearheading
in North America in promoting the apostolate "A Day
with Mary", the sisters accept invitation from Catholic groups
and parishes in organizing this apostolate with the assistance of
the Friars of the Immaculate. For more information about this
apostolate, please check out the page on "A
Day with Mary."
